The oldest operating nuclear plant is closing in just a couple of more months. Yayyy!!!  This is closing about 11 years earlier than its license, due to being uneconomical, unsafe and unable to compete with solar! This is great, because we certainly don’t want the risk, leaks, hazards, illness and property downgrades that it has caused in the area.  The good news also is that when nuclear plants close, the childhood cancer rates start to decline in the area.
